LIBRARY TO OPEN NEXT WEEK

Open House to the Public on November 27 to Inaugurate Its Use

The new Public Library in McConnell Park on South Wayne Street, will be opened to the public on Saturday, Nov. 27.  There will be no formal ceremonies to celebrate the occasion but members of the board will be present from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 pm, to welcome visitors and show them through the building and how to use the library.  It was intended to have a program

of dedication, but various delays arose, owing to the installation of equipment hence the plans for such a program were abandoned, and the informal method chosen.  All the citizens of the town and township are urged to call on that day and inspect the new library, and begin to use it.

Miss Rowen, and experienced librarian from the state librarian's office, has been assisting Mrs. Hector for several days in classifying and cataloguing the books and arranging the system under which they will be adopted and every possible aid given to make the library useful and convenient to the people of Angola and Pleasant Township.
